FAQ and Tips Page FAQ: How do I select a single shape to edit from the design? Pressing the Design button on the toolbar opens a shape selection control. You can also select shapes by tapping them. To make tapping shapes easier, touch around the edge of the design. If you accidentally touch multiple shapes at the same time, the shape selection control will open. What is the best way to find a design I like? There are two features available for creating the best design for your word(s). The first is using the Curves button on the toolbar to toggle between geometric and curved shapes. The second is tapping the Case Shifter “aBc” button in the text box. TIP: The longer the word the more complex your shapes will be, and likewise, short words make less complex shapes. Can I create designs using characters from languages other than English? Yes. Logo Me supports all language inputs and characters. How can I use my Logo Me design after I finish creating it? Some quick and easy ways to start using your logos outside of Logo Me: Save your design to your device’s photo album from the action menu. From inside the Photo app you can set that picture to a contact or as the background on your welcome screen. Upload your Logo Me design to your computer to use it just like you would use a photo. Be creative! Turn your design into a hat, t-shirt, coffee mug, stickers, cards, tattoos - temporary or real. It’s YOUR logo. Use it how you want! Can I share my Logo Me designs with other people? Yes! Share your Logo Me designs in Email or Facebook by selecting the option from the Action menu. It is even possible to email a friend multiple logos at one time. Use the “Send in Email” button in the action menu to launch the Mail app with the current Logo Me design attached. Then press the Home button to close Mail before sending the email. The message will be saved for the next time you send a design from the Logo Me app. Any number of designs can be added to one email in this way. When you are finished compiling designs in that email, don’t forget to send it! TIPS: Use color Themes to make designing faster: Themes, located in Design view, includes many different color scheme options to allow for quick selection of colors. Pick a color you like in the Palette, then go to the Themes menu to view and select the color schemes available. Save lots of favorites: Don’t be shy with saving your Logo Me designs to the Favorites list! Logos made from the same words are grouped together in the list, so as you flip through alternate shapes with the Case Shifter button, feel free to save each one that catches your eye so you can see the designs side by side for comparison. Want a specific color? Use RGBA values: If you want to use specific color values obtained from an art program or other resource, you can set a shape to this color by inputting the values into the text boxes located on the Sliders tab in Design view. Invisible shapes: Another creative way to make unique designs is to turn “off” one or more shapes in your design by changing the transparency to zero on the Sliders page. Moving the “A” slider all the way to the left will make it completely transparent.
